The first adventure of Makail's mission started on the evening of Aug 12. We went to the Mendon Stake Center for her setting apart. The wind was howling the dark clouds were looming. As we sat in the Stake President's office the siding on the building started rattling. The lights blink off, then on, then they stayed off. It had the same atmosphere as a Young Women's Camp devotional. As we sat there is was mentioned that if Makail's mission went like her cousin's Sarah, she should definitely get used to being in the dark. And getting her water from hose, which she hasn't had to do .... yet.
