The 70 second phone call- by Mom

After waiting on pins and needles all day we finally got the call from Hermana Swan!  The following is the transcription of that phone call according to my somewhat faulty memory:

Mom:  Hello?  Hello? Hello?
Makail:  Mom?  I have like three minutes to talk.  We are safe in Atlanta and are about to board our plane.
Mom:  It's so good to hear your voice! How has your day been?
Makail:  Great! Hurry to the airport, Fly all day, get off the plane and get ready to fly some more.,  Something like 12 more hours. They are checking our Visas in a few minutes.
Mom:  Ok I'll put you on speaker phone.
Makail:  I want you to know that the gospel is true.
Mom:  Who are you traveling with?
Makail:  Sister Westman, Sister Perry, (several other names that went in and back out of faulty memory),, Elders..... Everyone that didn't get their Visas the first time.  We all met in Atlanta and are flying out to Buenos Aires together.
Mom:  Great!  At least you have people to travel with.
Makail:  I love you tons.  They are checking our paperwork.  I've got to go.  I will call you at Christmas.  Love you.
Mom, Boston, Sydney, G&G Doo:  We love you  too!!

After the phone was turned off I looked around the dinner table.  There were no dry eyes.  The ice breaker award went to Grandma Doolittle who said, "There is no way that call was three minutes!"  She was absolutely right!  It was seventy-four seconds.

Makail sounded super excited.  The only important conversation took place.  We love her, she loves us and the Gospel is true.  What more could a mom ask for?

They should land in Argentina at 7;55 A.M. Nov. 4th.  That will be 2:55 A.M. our time.  We will have to wait for the letters to hear about the rest of her adventures.
