Weekly Update-The week of the great robbery!‏

Hola Everyone!

This week we had a little bit of excitement! It was a good week though, and I´m finally settling in to Argentina. I love it here, and Oncativo and I are becoming good friends. I love Laguna Larga because there are tons of new people to teach there, and we´ve actually had lessons with people!

We also had the Stand, which is a big poster basically. It has questions of the soul and we basically set it up in a busy area and then talk to people about the questions and invite them to visit the website. It´s kinda fun, and it changes it up. Sometimes it´s not as effective for getting return appointments, but at least we get some publicity.

Our area is coming along; there´s more to do now that when I started, so that´s a good sign :) This week I've really gained a testimony of prayer, fasting, and priesthood blessings. Also, that culture shock is real, and it´s not the easiest thing in the world to cope with. Another blessing is that Hermana Tuttle is very patient with all of this, and she is awesome! I´m learning to be patient with myself and to do things that are hard, even when it´s the last thing that I want to do. There´s a lot of comfort in just doing to work, and the motivation and happiness come after the little trial of faith and endurance. The tender mercies come then too. We found American candy (Skittles, peanut M&Ms, and Nerds), and I got to hold a kitten and a puppy (but not at the same time :). There are little things every day that remind me that the Lord is mindful of me, and that I´m here in Oncativo to learn things.

I´m glad to be out doing the Lord´s work, and I can´t believe how the time is starting to fly again! It´s a little scary to tell you the truth. I´m excited to start December and to have the "He´s the Gift" to look forward to and promote! I hope all of you get the chance to see it, and I can´t believe I´m saying this, but when it snows, enjoy it for me :)

Love you all and have a fantastic week!
Sincerely,
Hermana Swan
