Hey everyone!
So I´m having a wonderful time here in Saldan. Life is crazy busy with all that is going on with the temple, but the open house has drawn to an end. I feel relieved and at the same time, very sad. It was such a great opportunity to meet people and to talk to them about their questions. On the other hand, we didn´t get home until 11 or later at night when we worked. In other words, we´re taking it more or less easy this p-day :)
So all sorts of crazy stories have happened this week. We went to Centro en Córdoba last week to look for fabric (and do other fun shopping) for a dress for the temple dedication. We have some awesome ladies here that will make us one for a great deal, so we´re really looking forward to that :)
This week we had lessons with Yesica, our investigator and she´s almost ready for her baptism!!! We´re going to have it this week on Saturday, so we are really really enthusiastic for the obra. We also have a lot of other investigators that are progressing really well, and a few that are being baptized by the Elders, even though they live in our area. (It´s a long story, but everything in the end, happens for a reason).
There have been a lot of other crazy things that happened, but I´ll have to save some of them for when I call home...you´re not going to believe it. I think the adventure part of my mission is happening here. We´re safe and sound, although I think I have a little bit of a cold from not getting enough sleep, but it´ll get better :) I´ll send lots of pictures next week of the baptism!
Hope you all have a wonderful week of anticipation for my stories (muhahaha! ;), but yeah, life here is good an crazy. The church is true, and it is such a blessing to have a temple here in Córdoba. The Lord protects his missionaries (from everything except getting ripped off my a taxi driver, but hey :).
Love you all tons,
Hermana Swan
