So this has been a really really long week. (It doesn´t help that we`re already in Wednesday.
Everything started last P-day when we had an actividad de Zona. We were told we were going to play futbol. So we showed up at the church, and the Zone leaders hauled us off to some little town and we ate lunch with a cute little family, and then played real soccer against the local team. AHHH! I played, but it`s actually a lot harder with a full-sized field and a bunch of kids around the age of 10 that can dance around with a soccerball like they`ve been doing it since they could walk (and they have!). I`m pretty sure we ended up tying, but I`m not exactly sure, they might have beat us at the end. The Hermana Linares was with us in a tri-pan because her mini had to go home. She stayed with us until Wednesday.
Tuesday we went to the temple!!! It was so much fun! :D It was definitely a spiritual high :) It´s been 17 months for Hermana Regalado and 7 for Hermana Linares since they`ve been through. It`s fun to get to help them with all the things that I took for almost natural back home. It`s such a blessing to have a temple! Then we learned about the ups and downs of teaching with a group of three...and contacting...it was weird, but we had some success at least.
Wednesday Hermana Linares left to pick up her other mini and went back to her area. Hermana Regalado and I had prepared a training for the Zone because our district leader told us to and there was a little bit of a misunderstanding. In final, Hermana Regalado had to give the training for our district only. Oh well, at least we were prepared. Then that night we had to travel to San Francisco (the one here in Argentina :).
We had divisiones Thursday and I went with Hermana Arias who has 2 months in the mission. It was fun, but she`s from Buenos Aires, so she doesn`t have any problem understanding the people. It was really fun because we got to use their bicycles! We had to fill up the tires and raise the seat so that I didn´t die, but it was really fun. The only bad thing is that we never got the chance to put the seat back down for Hermana Ascuña (oops!).
We got back to our area about 2 in the morning. That was pretty rough. We were really tired Friday. The weekend was a bit of a blur. Sunday was good :) I like having a ward.
We had our meeting for leaders on Monday. It was so amazing! I learned a ton! Then of course we got to play futbol, but the small version (more like futsol). It was a blast, but it was so hot we all almost died of heat. But hey, I can´t wait until the next one to play again! We traveled that night, so we didn´t have time to write. We had an exchange with Hermana Dos Santos and Hermana Fuentealba. Las Varillas is a pueblito, a lot like Oncativo, but even smaller I think. It was weird to go back to that feeling again...I decided that I like the city a lot more to work as a missionary :) Well, we got back last night about 2 again, and we gave a training in the Zone meeting today. Busy, busy, but we had a second to write, so we did :) I love you all tons, and have a fantastic week!
Shoutout to Boston for her birthday today!!! Welcome to being older :P Know that the Lord has a plan, and sometimes we recieve a calling only so that we can see how blessed we really are :)
Love you all (still),
Hermana Swan
PS. Package from Grandma Swan...RECIEVED! :D How awesome! :) Thanks a bunch for all of the little notes of encouragement! I love you all! Thanks Swan Clan
