Hubo un bautismo...‏

Hey everybody!

So this week was crazy awesome! Even though we had so many things happen, the wedding still happened. Yamila and Sebastian got married...first in the civic building, and then they had the reception that night with their friends and family. They were so happy!!! Their kids got really sick, but they went through with everything anyway. It was such a special experience. I got to do Yamila´s hair and we basically helped with everything, as they were on a tight budget. Luckily, the most prepared and skilled Hermanas were available to help do everything from painting nails and hair to making empanadas and brownies (ok, so the elders who are not gringos were put in charge of the brownies...that story´s for another day haha). We decorated, we had tons of fun, but I´m super convinced that a wedding is much much much more work than normal proselyting.

Then, the next day we had Sebastian´s baptism! Our amazing mission leader did all of the heavy lifting, and everything went mostly smooth :). We ended up watching really really sad mormon messages in the middle while we waited on accident, but what´s a girl to do?

Sebastian was confirmed yesterday! Officially, he is a member of the Restored church! whoot! Then, Hermana Regalado had to go to an interview with President because she´s done with her mission. That was really stressful because she couldn´t say goodbye to tons of people. We finally got her packed this morning at 7:30 am and out the door...I am so sad to see her go, but my new companion is Hermana Humacata! There´s more info in the letter attached :) Well, hope all is well, and I love you all! The church is true, and the gospel changes people!

With love,

Hermana Swan
