The Gospel blesses families!‏

Hey everyone,

This week has been pretty awesome! Our investigator Sebastian is progressing very very well. He is so amazing, and it´s such a blessing for me to see how his life is changing because he is learning about the gospel. When we go and see him and his soon-to-be-wife, we can see that he is really happy. When they come to church and share their experiences with praying as a family, or when Sebastian knows more about the topic of the class than the teacher and he shares what he knows it is a beautiful thing. We can see how much more he appreciates his kids, and how he wants to work to support them so that his spouse can take care of the baby. They´re really putting their relationship together and starting a family. He is quitting smoking, and I am just so thankful that I can see this great change take place. I feel like this is one of those moments that the Lord gives us to get to know someone truly amazing and I feel so blessed to be here. I love this family so much!

We´ve had more exchanges with hermanas, and I although we have to travel at all hours of the night, it was really fun. I got to work with Hermana Arrescaeta, una mini, and she was super cool. It was a little interesting because she has only been in her area for 2 weeks, so it was a little like the blind leading the blind--but in the end it turned out well :)

We had our Zone Conference last Tuesday and I loved it! I always love learning so much from Presidente and this time we had some workshops after lunch. We learned how to make our invitations to come to church more powerful and eficaz, and how to teach with a focus on the Book of Mormon more. The highlight though, was when Hermana Alliaud (the wife of our mission President) taught us some yoga to strengthen our backs (it was hilarious!). She had to have an Elder volunteer to show us the sequences, and it made it really funny to watch her correct him.

In the end, this week has been great, the weather is a little strange. Yesterday we had a thunderstorm and lots of rain (unusual for this time of year). But, it still isn´t tooooo cold :) We have an investigator named Ignacio (Nacho is his nickname) and he came to church yesterday. He´s 17 years old and the best friend of one of our Recent converts. We´re really excited to teach him more.

Well, hope you all have a great week, and know that as people learn about the gospel, they change. This change is always for the better and they always end up more and more happy. Don´t forget to share what you can with others, and it can be as simple as praying for them. I love you all, and send you lots of hugs!

Sincerely,

Hermana Swan

Exchanges with the Hermanas in Jesus Maria! (sorry it´s upside down) Hermana Arrescaeta (una mini from Arguello, Córdoba and my companion for the day) and Hermana Linares (from Peru
