Sept. 16, 2015

Hey family and friends, so life is crazy! We´re back to traveling a lot, and on top of normal traveling, we visited La Falda, which is an old area of Hermana Humacata. She wanted to visit a few families. I took tons of pictures, La Falda is very, very pretty. It´s in the mountains, and it´s touristy.

Last week we had an exchange with Jesus Maria, hermana Linares and her hija Hermana Rounsville from New Mexico. It was super fun! It amazed me how well they´re doing, and how fast Hermana Rounsville is learning spanish! It was super great, and I really love them both so much. We ate some Kumcuats (I have no idea how to spell that) and they were delicious!

Sebastian recieved the Aaronic priesthood last week, and he was sustained this last sunday (in our other Stake Conference) and will shortly recieve the Melquisidek Priesthood. He and his family are progressing so well!

We have found a lot of new people that we´re starting to work with. We found Graciela on the bus to Centro last week, and we found Walter by trying to track down his wife whom we´d contacted a few weeks ago. I felt like I needed to share the Book of Mormon with him, even though he started with the "I´ve already got my own religion, but thanks" attitude. When I explained a little more about what it was he said, "I´ve always wanted to read that!". So we´re excited to keep working with his family. It turns out when you pray to see the miracles, you start to see a bunch of them :)

We had interviews with Presidente and that was super informative. I like talking to him, I ALWAYS learn something about myself...he correctly diagnosed me as an adrinaline junkie when I told him I was less stressed after playing paintball...y bueno, it´s so true!

Sunday was our Stake Conference. I loved it, they are really focusing on the importance of keeping the sabbath day holy. Instead of worrying about the things we can´t do, we should worry about the things we can and should do on that special day.

Well, I´ll tell you about my other travels next week! Love you all tons and know that the Lord looks out for you!

Cuidensen,

Hermana Swan
