It was a great week...earthquake and all!‏

Hey y´all,

Well, it was another good week. We´ve been busy (the good kind of busy), and a little bit stressed. We visited Las Varillas on Tuesday, and I don´t think I really wrote about that last week....it was fun! We found a future investigator that writes songs for his Evangelical church. He was a really cool guy, and really receptive. It was fun to be able to give a really good reference to the Hermanas there. We also visited a few less actives and recent converts. They were super nice and they were excited to see Hermana Humacata again. The Falda is very pretty, I loved the scenery!

Then we got to Las Varillas pretty early in the morning. We got to do exchanges with Hermana Fuentealba (from Chile, she was my companion for the day), and Hermana Mcarthur (from Wyoming). It was fun! We visited with their soon-to-be-baptized investigator and she had a parrot...and not just any parrot, but one that talks! It also whistles, but it must be a little shy of strangers because it would only do it if I wasn´t looking at him. The rest of the day was good and we enjoyed the quiet pueblo feel.

We got back to Cordoba, and went to our district meeting and everything...eventually we went to ciber to write you guys, and then just as we were finishing up and ready to leave...THERE WAS AN EARTHQUAKE! At first we thought we were just light-headed for typing for an hour, but it was a really weird sensation not unlike being seasick. Then we realized that the fan was swaying...and other things in ciber too. The shaking lasted for about a minute, there wasn´t any danger, it was just really weird. I took a video :) Now everyone asks how it went for us in the earthquake haha. Apparently, the epicenter was in Chile.

We went on a City tour of Córdoba in an open-top bus. It was really fun and I learned where a lot of buildings are :) I got a little sunburned, but I´ll live :)

Hope you all have a wonderful week and know that the Lord answers our prayers. I got pretty sick on Saturday night, but thanks to a lot of prayer I´m pretty much fine already; I just don´t eat EVERYTHING that I see :) I´m fine, really! But the message this week is that before trying everything else that doesn´t work, start with a prayer. It´s more efficient.

Love you all! Take care,

Hermana Swan
