Hey Everyone! 2/23/15

Hola todos,

So this week has been really fun and crazy! Last week we went to Còrdoba for our Zone P-day. We went to the big mall that is there in Córdoba, and we went bowling :) It was super fun, and the best part is that we got to wear normal clothes! I realized that I really missed wearing my jeans, and the best part is that they still fit!! :D I was so chocha (really really happy :). I got three strikes? (when you knock all of them over in one throw, I´m losing my English for reals). I almost won by several points, but ended up tying with another Hermana on the last shot...Hermana Gonzalez from Honduras. It ended up being a really fun day :)

On Tuesday, Monica gave us clothes from her shop. There was a huge storm in Laguna Larga, so we got totally soaked and had to come home, but there wasn´t hardly any rain in Oncativo. We showed up on Monica`s doorstep soaked to the bone, and that`s why she gave us clothes. It was a little bit crazy, but it was pretty fun. The hardest part was finding shirts with sleeves, but we did :)

On Wednesday we called Familia Cepeda and Hermana Rosa (the mom) told us that she was going to go back to Rosario to live with her family. We were devastated! We went to the Conference on Thursday thinking that we were going to lose our favorite family. It was really sad! The conference was amazing though, and we heard from Elder Gonzalez, of our Area 70 and it was a great experience. It was fun to see all of the Hermanas and our MTC district together again! We came back home that night and talked to Flia Cepeda, and Rosa said that she knew we were coming. She didn´t have the money to take all of the kids and go (thank heaven for that one!). We left her feeling much happier. It´s really only a matter of time before she realizes that this is what the Lord wants for her. Also on Thursday, we recieved a missed call from Monica during the conference, and a message that said, "Monica was in an accident and needs your prayers". We were really, REALLY concerned. We called, and she didn´t call back for hours. Eventually, we talked to her and went to visit in the hospital. She broke her pelvis falling of the second story of some house. On the bright side, she´s alive and has tons of time to read in the Book of Mormon.

Friday we had exchanges, and I was companions with Hermana Rodriguez from Spain. She´s got an awesome accent hehe. It was really a great experience, and we sang Come thou Fount as a duet and recorded it :) We got to eat cake with Familia Abate Daga because it was Hermana Abate Daga´s birthday, so that was fantastic!

Saturday both of us had a little bit of a stomach bug, but we still managed to get a lot done, and on Sunday: FAMILIA CEPEDA CAME TO CHURCH AGAIN! Everything is working so well with this family, it is definitely meant to be. We are working on getting them on the books of the city so they can get married, and the Lord definitley has a hand in this one because it is all falling into place.

Well, I want you all to know that there are hard weeks and there are slightly less hard weeks in the mission, but they´re all good, and they all teach you something. The church is true, and everyone deserves to hear about the gospel and learn for themselves the path to true and lasting happiness. Thanks for all your love and support back home, and have a great week!

Love to all,

Hermana Swan

Laguna Larga before the storm...

Oh yeah, and I caught a giant toad...Hermana Regalado jumped 4 feet in the air when she saw it because it was in the dark. Also, she has an irrational fear of frogs and toads, which I now know haha.

Hma Tuttle!!!

Flia Cepeda!!! :D just after church.

Hma training leaders. right to left Hma Gonzalez (Honduras), Hma Rodriguez (Spain), Me (US), Hma Regalado (Peru)
