Welcome to Ayacucho!‏

Hey everyone,

I forgot to announce that this last week was transfers...I honestly didn´t think that I was going anywhere. But, I´ve been transfered to an area just a little ways from Saldan...AYACUCHO! I also got called as a Sister Training Leader. Oh dear. My new companion is...Hermana REGALADO!!! (She was my second companion here in Argentina in Oncativo! :) WHOOOHOOO! This is her last transfer, so I better hold on tight or she´s going to run me into the ground, as she is the farthest thing from trunky-she´s always been a really hard worker, but it´s like someone lit a fire under her, so it´ll be a blast.

So my new area is really interesting. It´s apparently a little bit less secure than Saldan, but it´s all good :) There used to be four hermanas here, but they took out one of the companionships because we don´t have very many hermanas at the moment. (34 I think). Our pension is a lot bigger than Saldan, and now we have a TON of work. They tell me that it is a Ward, but I´ll tell you more about it when I get to know it.

It was hard as always to leave Saldan. I didn´t get to say goodbye to everyone I would have liked to because there just wasn´t time, but I did get to say chau to lots. My poor hija cried and cried... She got left an orphan. I am sad to leave the mountains...I´m going to miss the hills and the rocks that are there, even though they killed my shoes (you´d be proud, it finally looks like I´ve been working, in Oncativo all my shoes still looked more or less brand new). It´s not that I didn´t work, but it finally shows haha. I´m actually really nervous to be a Sister training leader...AHHHHH!

That´s familia Juarez, and they are sooooo awesome! Hermana Regalado always makes me look super white, and in this case well, like I didn´t sleep very well. That´s family Martinez and they´re also very nice, and we got to eat pizza with them :)

Well, I hope you all have a wonderful week, and I´ll send you pictures of my pension when I take them :) Love to all, and I hope that you can realize how many little miracles the Lord always gives us, just to make us happy. I got to say goodbye to Hermana Salmeron before she left for her home in Brazil. I didn´t think I would get to see her, but I did! What a huge blessing it was, as I was so sorry to see her go. Pues, así es la vida de una misionera. (Well, that´s the life of a missionary).

Hasta luego, y con mucho amor,
(for Grandma: See you later and with a lot of love,)

Hermana Swan

Bishop Franco and his family stopped by to say goodbye.

Me in the shower bucket haha!
